A major tourist attraction is taking shape at Kailasagiri in Visakhapatnam, where the ‘Trishul Project’ is being developed at a cost of ₹2.50 crore. The project has reached its final stage, with a massive trident installation becoming its highlight. Designed to withstand cyclones and strong winds, the structure stands 65 feet tall, featuring a ‘Damarukam’ that is 10 feet high and 18 feet wide. The initiative aims to enhance the visual appeal of the hilltop and attract more tourists to the region.
According to Pranav Gopal, the trident is being installed at an elevated location so it can be visible from multiple parts of the city. To add to its grandeur, 110-watt LED lights will be fitted inside the structure, ensuring it glows prominently at night. The project is expected to become a landmark attraction, boosting tourism and adding to the city’s iconic skyline.
