New Life Insurance Scheme for Central Government Employees

The central government has launched a new life insurance scheme for its employees aimed at ensuring financial security and welfare. The initiative offers a combination of banking and insurance services, making it a one-stop solution for various employee needs, including financial assistance and risk coverage.

The scheme includes benefits such as zero balance salary accounts, free remittance services, and low-interest loans for housing, education, vehicles, and personal needs. It also provides insurance coverage up to ₹1.5 crore for accidental death, ₹2 crore for air accident death, and additional benefits for disability and term life insurance up to ₹20 lakh, along with fee waivers on locker and loan processing services.
