A fact-finding report by the Association for Protection of Civil Rights has stated that investigators found no evidence to support allegations of an organized “love jihad” or religious conversion conspiracy in the harassment case at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) BPO in Nashik. The report was released at the Mumbai Press Club following an on-ground assessment conducted by a five-member APCR team, which visited Nashik on April 4 to evaluate the situation.
According to the findings, police officials informed the team that the nine FIRs registered in connection with the case contain varying and inconsistent allegations. Citing details reported by The Free Press Journal, the report emphasized that investigating agencies have not established any organized attempt at religious conversion. The APCR concluded that the claims of a coordinated conspiracy lack substantiated evidence based on the information currently available from the investigation.
