India and Russia have reportedly signed a defence cooperation agreement that allows both nations to deploy up to 3,000 military personnel in each other’s territory. This move is seen as a significant step toward strengthening strategic and military ties between the two countries.
The agreement also includes provisions for the use of naval ships and military aircraft, along with support for joint exercises, training, and humanitarian operations. It is part of the Reciprocal Exchange of Logistics Agreement, aimed at improving coordination, operational efficiency, and mutual support between both sides.
