The United States Central Command has launched a large-scale operation to blockade Iranian ports near the Strait of Hormuz, deploying around 10,000 personnel. The operation includes mariners, sailors, and airmen, reflecting a significant escalation in military presence in the region. In addition to manpower, the United States has deployed 12 warships and multiple fighter aircraft to enforce the blockade and monitor maritime activity.
According to Central Command, no vessel has been able to cross the Strait of Hormuz in the last 24 hours due to the ongoing blockade. The development highlights rising geopolitical tensions, with the United States intensifying its efforts to control key maritime routes. The situation continues to be closely watched by the international community, given the strategic importance of the region for global trade and energy supply.
