KTR Makes Sensational Allegations Over Land Allotments

˘BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) has alleged that senior leaders of the Congress government are amassing funds through alleged land irregularities and bringing in shell space companies to conceal the alleged black money. KTR, along with former ministers Harish Rao, Sabitha Indra Reddy, T. Srinivas Yadav and other BRS leaders, legislators and party workers, staged a protest near the land allotted by the government in Tukkuguda to Tesseract, a company associated with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s brother Kondal Reddy. The protest followed a meeting at KTR’s residence over the next course of action after the BRS legislators were suspended from the Assembly. KTR alleged that government land worth around Rs 200 crore was allotted to the company for Rs 7 crore and questioned whether land of such value could be allotted to a company with a capital of just Rs 1 lakh. He demanded that the government make all details of the land allotment public and clarify allegations of preferential treatment to members of the Chief Minister’s family.

KTR also alleged that the government was creating a real estate network in the name of Future City and cautioned industrialists against investing there without clarity on the legal status of the land. He said land had earlier been acquired under specific conditions for Pharma City and argued that using it for other purposes could lead to legal complications. KTR warned that investors could face losses if disputes over the land arise in court in the future. He also demanded clarity on an agreement involving another company associated with the Chief Minister’s brother and the Israel Innovation Ecosystem. KTR questioned the BJP and central investigating agencies over their alleged silence on the matter and said the BRS would hold meetings in villages across Rangareddy district to explain what he termed the government’s “Future City” activities to the public.
