MLC Kavitha’s tweet without mentioning KCR’s name refers to a warrior’s hunger strike.

It is well known that Kavitha, former MLC and president of Telangana Jagruthi, has been distancing herself from her father KCR and brother KTR in recent times. She has openly criticized her own party, KCR’s leadership, KTR and even Harish Rao in the past few weeks.

On the occasion of 16 years since KCR launched his indefinite fast for a separate Telangana, Kavitha posted on X without mentioning her father’s name. Instead, she wrote that Telangana was achieved because of “a warrior’s hunger strike,” which immediately went viral.Netizens have strongly criticized Kavitha’s comments. They allege that she is unwilling to acknowledge KCR, even though she enjoyed several political positions because of him. Many argue that without KCR, Kavitha would not have risen in politics and they question why a daughter would ignore the leader who played such a major role in her career.

They are challenging her to contest in the upcoming elections solely under the Telangana Jagruthi banner if she truly believes in her own standalone influence.
