BRS leader K. Kavitha criticized the Telangana government during a meeting held at the RG-11 mine gate, alleging that workers' concerns and promises made to Singareni employees have been ignored after coming to power. She claimed that leaders had visited Singareni mining regions during elections seeking support from workers, but failed to fulfill assurances given to them after forming the government.
Kavitha also expressed concern over the deployment of police personnel near the mining area and stated that trade unions and political organizations have traditionally conducted meetings near mine premises. She warned that restricting such activities could lead to tensions and appealed to the government to address workers' grievances. According to Kavitha, Singareni employees have recognized what she described as unfulfilled commitments and are seeking accountability from the ruling administration.
