Chandrababu to Visit Cyclone-Affected Areas Today

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit areas affected by Cyclone Murasu today to assess the damage caused by the storm. According to preliminary estimates, the cyclone has caused losses worth approximately ₹1,918 crore across the state. As many as 59 mandals and 649 gram panchayats have been affected by the cyclone, with several areas reporting damage.

The Chief Minister has directed officials to prepare a comprehensive report on the damage caused by the cyclone and send it to the Central Government at the earliest. The report is expected to detail the extent of losses in the affected areas and help the state seek the necessary assistance from the Centre. Chandrababu has instructed the officials to expedite the assessment process and ensure that the report is submitted without delay.
