Polling for the Jubilee Hills by-election is progressing smoothly and peacefully. Voters turned up at polling booths early in the morning to cast their votes. According to Chief Electoral Officer Sudarshan Reddy, a 20.76% turnout was recorded by 11 AM. He stated that three EVMs developed minor technical issues but were promptly replaced to ensure uninterrupted voting.
Meanwhile, police have filed FIRs against three non-local political leaders for allegedly moving around the constituency in violation of election guidelines.
In Bihar, voter participation was slightly higher, with 31.38% turnout recorded till 11 AM, officials confirmed.
