Jogi Ramesh’s Daughter-in-Law’s Car Hit by Bus; Father Seeks Probe Over Suspicions

A private travel bus reportedly collided with a car carrying Jogi Meghana and her father, Krishna, while they were travelling from Vijayawada towards Kodad in Telangana on October 15. The incident occurred in the Ibrahimpatnam area of NTR district and left part of their car damaged. Krishna approached the Ibrahimpatnam police station on October 16, requesting action against the bus driver and an investigation, stating that he had concerns about their safety. According to the report, police registered a case following his complaint.

Krishna reportedly expressed suspicion that former minister and YSRCP leader Jogi Ramesh might have a connection to the incident and sought a detailed investigation. His concerns come amid an earlier complaint by Meghana alleging attempted murder, dowry harassment and threats to her life against her father-in-law, Jogi Ramesh, her husband, Rajiv, and other family members. Those allegations had also led to a police case, according to the supplied report. However, the police reportedly maintain that the bus collision was an accident and was not deliberate. The allegations of possible involvement remain suspicions raised by the complainant, not established facts.
