I Am the Arrow of Bahujans - Kavitha

Telangana Rakshana Sena president Kalvakuntla Kavitha, addressing the Panchajanya Sankalpa Sabha at Kosgi in Kodangal constituency on September 20, described herself as the “arrow of Bahujans” and rejected descriptions that she was backed by any established political party. She said her political platform was inspired by the ideas of B.R. Ambedkar, Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule, and said she was prepared to take on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and BRS leader K. Chandrashekar Rao.

Kavitha said the Telangana Rakshana Sena would focus on education, healthcare, employment, agriculture and social justice. She promised free education and healthcare and said young people would be supported with loans ranging from ₹2 lakh to ₹20 crore based on their business ideas. She also said her party would seek to provide irrigation to 10 lakh acres from the Jurala project towards Ibrahimpatnam if voted to power. During the speech, she recalled her participation with Chandrababu Naidu and Revanth Reddy in a 2009 election campaign at Kosgi and said she would seek an opportunity to lead Telangana.
