At the US–India strategic partnership summit held in New Delhi, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy highlighted Hyderabad’s growing prominence as a global hotspot for investments. He said the city offers world-class infrastructure, an industry-friendly environment, and safe conditions making it an ideal destination for international companies.
Revanth Reddy noted that Telangana is one of the fastest-growing states in India, supported by a dynamic and youthful population. He outlined the development and welfare programmes implemented by the government over the past 23 months and announced the construction of a “Bharat Future City” spread over 30,000 acres.
He also mentioned that once the Musi river rejuvenation project is completed, Hyderabad will see a rapid rise in its night economy, similar to riverfront cities like London, Tokyo, Dubai, and Seoul.
The Chief Minister updated delegates on major infrastructure projects including the dry port, metro expansion, Regional Ring Road, radial roads, and a manufacturing zone between the ORR and RRR. He said Telangana is emerging as a strong global alternative to the “China Plus One” model.
Revanth Reddy added that the government is considering naming key roads after leading global companies such as Google, Meta, TCS and Infosys to reflect Hyderabad’s technological growth.
He invited world-renowned universities like Harvard, Stanford and Oxford to set up offshore campuses in Hyderabad, stating that this would make high-quality education accessible and affordable for students from the Global South due to lower operational costs.
His presentation on the “Telangana Rising–2047” vision received strong appreciation from global business leaders. Several international delegates confirmed they would attend the Telangana Rising Global Summit scheduled in Hyderabad on December 8 and 9.
