Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri who met Epstein

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has strongly denied the ‘Exton’ allegations made by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, stating that the claims are baseless. Puri clarified that he had met Exton only in his capacity as part of the International Peace Institute (IPI) delegation. He explained that he had met him on three or four occasions and exchanged just one email. He emphasized that there is no connection between the allegations against Exton and his limited professional interactions.

Reacting sharply to Rahul Gandhi’s remarks, Puri described them as misinformation and said such statements were politically motivated. During his speech on the Union Budget, Rahul Gandhi had referred to the Epstein Files and mentioned the names of Adani, Anil Ambani, and Hardeep Singh Puri, which has since triggered political debate.
