Union Minister Kishan Reddy said that the future of electric vehicles, semiconductors, and the defence sector depends on critical minerals. He stated that the government is working on a major plan to transform India into a “Mineral Power” nation through mining reforms, exploration, and coal gasification, strengthening national security and industrial growth.
He also accused previous governments of diverting DMF funds and highlighted growth in coal production and employment generation. Kishan Reddy criticised the Congress government and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, while expressing confidence that the BJP will come to power in Telangana in 2028.
