TDP national working president and Minister Nara Lokesh has made it clear that everyone holding a party position, including ministers and MLAs, must respect the organisation. He stressed that every leader should remember that the party comes first. Speaking during a discussion on strengthening the party organisation and conducting party programmes, Lokesh said party assignments must be given top priority. Citing his own experience, he said he was invited to a programme related to Quantum Towers but chose not to attend because he had already been assigned a party responsibility at the same time. He stressed that every task entrusted by the party must be completed without fail.
Lokesh said those holding party positions do not need anyone’s permission to attend party programmes. He reminded party leaders that without the B-form issued by TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu, those currently serving as ministers, MLAs or MPs would not have secured their positions. He warned that neglecting the party could affect their political future and urged leaders to keep this in mind at all times. He also asked party functionaries to regularly review the implementation of party programmes in their respective constituencies and work collectively to further strengthen the organisation.
