Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has alleged that irregularities in the DSC-2025 recruitment process are emerging one after another. Speaking to reporters at his camp office in Tadepalli on Thursday, he alleged that teacher posts were filled under the sports quota without candidates appearing for the examination. According to Jagan, certificates were allegedly created to show participation and victories in sporting events that never took place, and the documents were subsequently used for recruitment. He also alleged irregularities in caste certificates submitted by candidates and claimed that cases were being filed against people, including journalists, who brought evidence of the alleged irregularities to light.
Jagan said neither Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu nor Education Minister Nara Lokesh had directly responded to the questions he raised over the DSC process. He demanded a CBI investigation and called for the Education Minister’s resignation, saying strong action was necessary to protect the recruitment system. Jagan further alleged that a similar attempt was made to fill 40 of 814 Forest Department posts through the sports quota without an examination, but claimed the recruitment process was halted after his party raised concerns over the DSC issue. He also alleged that Chandrababu Naidu had obtained clean chits in cases against him through officials, a charge that remains a political allegation.
