Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the proposed constituency reapportionment will benefit southern states and will not cause any loss. Speaking in Karimnagar, he dismissed the claims made by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy that increasing seats by 50 percent would harm the South, calling them baseless.
He criticized the Congress party, stating that it lacks patriotism and nationalism. According to him, Revanth Reddy is making such statements to divert public attention from the implementation of promised schemes and is relying on false narratives. He also accused him of creating unnecessary regional divisions for political gain.
Bandi Sanjay further alleged that these issues are being raised to gain advantage in upcoming elections across five states. He predicted that Congress would face defeat in several regions and claimed that the party has failed to support women’s reservation. He assured that the NDA government is committed to implementing women’s reservation despite any opposition.
