The alliance leaders, who have decided to contest the urban local body elections together, are making final efforts to reach an agreement on seat sharing and candidate selection. Discussions are underway to determine which party will contest from each constituency and who will be fielded as candidates. Against this backdrop, Ministers Nadendla Manohar and Satyakumar Yadav, along with MP Lingamaneni Ramesh and other leaders, met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at his camp office in Undavalli.
The leaders are holding detailed discussions on seat allocation and the selection of candidates. With the nomination process scheduled to begin on Friday, the alliance is working to finalise the arrangements at the earliest. The leaders aim to complete the seat-sharing exercise and confirm the candidates within the nomination schedule, enabling the alliance partners to contest the urban local body elections with better coordination.
