Delhi former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and AAP convener, accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah of plotting to destroy the Aam Aadmi Party under the guise of the Delhi liquor case. He claimed that unconstitutional actions were taken against him and other party leaders, including false cases and imprisonment, despite the court confirming their honesty and integrity.
Kejriwal stated that five senior AAP leaders were jailed and even he was imprisoned while serving as Chief Minister. He insisted that neither he nor Manish Sisodia were corrupt and emphasized that the court cleared them of all wrongdoing. He further alleged that these actions were politically motivated to weaken AAP and mislead three crore citizens of Delhi.
Kejriwal demanded an apology from Prime Minister Modi for the false cases and urged the BJP to stop political conspiracies against opposition parties. He challenged Modi to conduct fresh Delhi elections and promised to quit politics if BJP wins more than ten seats. Kejriwal stressed that political focus should shift to national welfare rather than targeting parties like AAP.
