

New Delhi has been decked up to host the 18th BRICS Summit, with leaders from several countries scheduled to arrive in India over the next few days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a post on X, expressed confidence that the summit would facilitate meaningful discussions on a range of issues aimed at global welfare. He said India would welcome leaders from around the world and emphasised the importance of constructive dialogue and cooperation among countries.
The BRICS Summit is scheduled to be held in Delhi on Saturday and Sunday. Ahead of the main summit, Prime Minister Modi is expected to hold bilateral meetings with several visiting leaders. The discussions are likely to focus on strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation on issues of mutual interest. The gathering is expected to provide an important platform for participating countries to exchange views on global and regional developments.
