Police have uncovered an alleged prostitution racket in the Madhapur area of Hyderabad. Teams from the Madhapur and Kukatpally Special Operations Team (SOT) jointly raided a service apartment in Chandranayak Thanda. During the operation, three women from Uzbekistan were detained in Room No. 204. According to the police, preliminary findings indicated that the women had entered India via Nepal without valid passports and visas.
Police identified a Delhi-based man named Nayak as the alleged main accused, suspecting that he had brought the women to Hyderabad and arranged the prostitution activities. A case has been registered against him, and a search is underway to trace him. Police said steps would be taken to repatriate the three women through the court process. They also warned service apartment operators to verify customers’ identity documents before allotting rooms.
