

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and extended a formal invitation to attend the Telangana Rising 2047 Global Summit, scheduled to be held at Bharat Future City in Hyderabad.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka also participated in the meeting. The Chief Minister presented the specially printed summit invitation to the Prime Minister.
Revanth Reddy briefed the PM on Telangana’s long-term vision aligned with the national Viksit Bharat 2047 goals. He explained that the state aims to achieve a 3 trillion-dollar economy and has prepared the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document outlining sector-wise growth plans and future strategies.
Prepared with inputs from NITI Aayog and domain experts, this document will be officially released during the summit. The CM requested central support for Telangana’s major development initiatives, including approvals and funding for infrastructure projects. He urged the PM to approve Phase 2 of the Hyderabad Metro Rail expansion, covering 162.5 km, proposed as a joint venture between the Centre and the State, at an estimated cost of Rs 43,848 crore.
He also sought cabinet approval and financial clearance for the northern part of the Regional Ring Road, and permissions for the southern stretch. The CM emphasized the need to expedite the proposed Regional Ring Rail project along the RRR corridor.
Requests were also made for a 12-lane greenfield expressway from Hyderabad to Bandar Port via Amaravati, and a high-speed greenfield corridor between Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Additionally, the CM appealed for approval to build a four-lane elevated corridor from Mannanur to Srisailam through the Tiger Reserve to ensure seamless connectivity to the pilgrimage destination.
