'Change Your Mindset, Not the Camera Angle': Priyanka Gandhi

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized the Union Government during the Lok Sabha debate on the Public Examinations (Amendment) Bill, 2026, stating that the confidence of Generation Z cannot be won through social media videos or different camera angles. She remarked that if the government truly wants to regain the trust of young people, it must change its mindset and governance rather than its presentation. Priyanka said today's youth are capable of distinguishing facts from narratives and expect sincerity and accountability from those in power.

During her speech, she also questioned the government's handling of student protests over the alleged NEET paper leak issue. Referring to the police action against protesters, she sought answers from the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister regarding the use of force on students. Priyanka further alleged that despite the law enacted in 2024 to curb examination paper leaks, no one had been punished under its provisions. She urged the government to strengthen the education system, prevent paper leaks effectively, and focus on educational reforms and employment opportunities for the country's youth.
