BRS Stays Away from Rajya Sabha Elections

Bharat Rashtra Samithi has decided not to contest the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections due to a lack of numerical strength. With only 27 members in the state assembly, the party leadership, including KCR, felt that contesting the polls would be futile. Recently, KTR and Harish Rao met with KCR to discuss the matter.

During a recent meeting with municipal corporation leaders at Lotus Pond, KTR clarified the decision to local party leaders. The decision comes just before the nomination deadline, ensuring that the party avoids a futile contest and focuses on other strategic priorities.
