BRS Files Writ Petition in High Court Over Saifabad PS Incident

The BRS has approached the Telangana High Court over the alleged incident at Saifabad Police Station involving KTR’s PA Mahender Reddy and PRO Mahesh. The petitioners told the court that some unidentified persons entered the police station during their questioning and allegedly threatened them. They sought directions for a case to be registered against those responsible and for appropriate legal action.

Mahender Reddy and Mahesh had been summoned by Saifabad police for questioning in connection with the September 7 incident near the Telangana Assembly. The BRS alleged that unidentified persons entered the police station during the questioning. Police, however, have denied that any assault took place, stating that some locals had approached the station and an argument broke out before officers intervened and sent them out.
