BJP MP Etela Rajender stated that the party’s primary objective is to bring the Bharatiya Janata Party to power in Telangana. Speaking to the media after a meeting with the national leadership in Delhi, he said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is focused on strengthening the party in the state. He added that the leadership aims to replicate the success achieved in West Bengal in Telangana, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party president Nitin Nabhi actively engaging with party workers and leaders.
Etela Rajender criticized the Revanth Reddy government for failing to fulfill election promises and for discontinuing several welfare schemes. He also pointed out that the issues faced during the previous BRS government are still fresh in the minds of the people. He emphasized that BJP will continue to fight on key public issues such as fee reimbursement, farmers’ concerns, assigned lands, and housing demolitions, asserting that there is a growing demand for change among the people of Telangana.
