BJP MLA Paidi Rakesh Reddy made strong remarks in the Telangana Assembly, alleging that Nizamabad district is being neglected by the government. He said the district had been left without adequate attention and announced that he would resign as MLA after presenting details of the alleged injustice to Nizamabad, if he is given an opportunity to speak in the House.
Rakesh Reddy also raised concerns over the condition of government offices in the district. He said requests for new buildings for MRO and RDO offices were not being acted upon and pointed out that an MRO office in Armur, built during the Nizam era, is still in use. He also alleged that Nizamabad is not receiving adequate priority in terms of funds and development.
