Vodafone Idea has formulated a plan to expand its 5G services. The company aims to make 5G services available in another 90 cities by May of this year. With this expansion, the service coverage—currently present in 43 cities—will extend to a total of 133 cities. The company is focusing its efforts on expanding services across metro cities, industrial corridors, and smaller towns.
These services are set to be expanded across 15 telecom circles, including Andhra Pradesh. Cities such as Hyderabad and Tirupati are also included in this rollout. While Jio and Airtel have already expanded their 5G services nationwide, Vodafone Idea is now focusing on network quality in an effort to attract customers.
