The annual Spring Festival has begun at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams from today and will continue until April 1. These celebrations are held at the Vasantha Mandapam and attract a large number of devotees every year. During these three days, the deity will be taken in a grand procession through the temple streets, creating a festive atmosphere in the entire area.
On the second day, devotees are expected to gather in huge numbers between 8 AM and 10 AM to witness the special procession of the Lord on the golden chariot. Along with this, several important rituals like Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva will be performed during the festival.
However, the temple authorities have announced the cancellation of the Ashtadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva scheduled for tomorrow. Despite this, the festival promises a spiritually enriching experience for all devotees visiting Tirumala during these days.
