Reports indicate that the United States has carried out fierce attacks on Tehran, the capital of Iran. It has been revealed that top-ranking Iranian military leaders lost their lives in these strikes. US President Donald Trump personally announced this development. He stated that key military leaders who were at the helm of Iran's operations were killed in these attacks on Tehran. However, he did not disclose the specific details of those who died.
Trump shared videos and provided details regarding these attacks on his social media platforms. Meanwhile, no official statement regarding this incident has been issued by Iran so far. It appears that these attacks took place following an ultimatum issued by Trump, demanding that the Strait of Hormuz be reopened within 48 hours. Consequently, tensions in the region have escalated further.
Separately, Iran has launched retaliatory attacks against Kuwait. Massive fires erupted following a drone attack on the Shuwaikh Oil Sector Complex. Officials confirmed that the headquarters of the Ministry of Oil and the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation are located in this area. They clarified that while the attack resulted in significant property damage, there was no loss of life.
According to the Kuwaiti military, their air defense systems intercepted incoming missiles and drones. They noted that loud sounds of explosions were heard as a result of these interceptions. Furthermore, reports suggest that a government building in Kuwait City was also targeted in a drone attack. With these developments, tensions in the West Asian region are escalating further. The international community is observing these developments with concern.
