

Chandrababu expressed deep dissatisfaction regarding the construction works for the capital city of Amaravati. During a review meeting held at his camp office in Undavalli, he expressed anger at officials and contractors, stating that delays in the work would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He warned that strict action would be inevitable if the work did not proceed in accordance with the set targets. He made it clear that any lapses in the quality of work or any form of negligence would not be accepted. He also lashed out over recent fire accidents, questioning why adequate safety measures had not been implemented.
The Chief Minister noted that the government was earning a bad reputation due to the negligence of contractors. He warned that greater caution is required, particularly given the current climate where even minor incidents are being given a political spin. In light of officials acknowledging flaws in the appointment of project managers, he stated that he would not tolerate any issues that adversely impact the progress of the work. He urged every organization involved to view the construction of Amaravati as a historic responsibility.
The Chief Minister stated that the goal is to complete the construction of the capital city on time and have it inaugurated by the Prime Minister. He issued directives to proceed with specific weekly or monthly targets and to accelerate the pace of work before the onset of the monsoon season. Although thousands of workers are currently employed on the project, he suggested increasing the deployment of necessary machinery and human resources. He also recommended prioritizing the utilization of local labor.
The Chief Minister emphasized the need to focus on the use of green energy and modern technology in the development of Amaravati. He issued orders to ensure the uninterrupted supply of sand and gravel through a 'Green Channel.' He warned that strict action would be taken against anyone creating obstacles in this regard. The Chief Minister called upon everyone to act responsibly towards the goal of transforming Amaravati into a world-class city.
