

A tiger that ventured out of the Daulapur forest area in Jagadevpur mandal has been moving across several villages, causing panic among residents. Forest officials confirmed that the tiger recently attacked and killed a calf near Basanthapur in Rajapet mandal of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. The continued movement of the big cat has left people in nearby villages anxious and on high alert.
Forest department teams are closely monitoring the tiger’s movements. Based on pugmarks, officials traced its latest movement towards the outskirts of Srinivasapuram village in Alair mandal of Jangaon district. Extensive searches are underway at suspected locations, and trap cameras have been installed along possible routes of the tiger. Authorities have advised residents of border villages to remain vigilant, avoid venturing out alone, and immediately inform officials if the animal is sighted.
