

Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has directed officials to prepare a comprehensive plan to develop major temples located along the Godavari River stretch from Gnana Saraswati Temple Basara to Bhadrachalam Temple ahead of the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu. The minister said the aim is to improve facilities and ensure better connectivity to these religious sites for devotees.
During a cabinet sub-committee meeting chaired by Duddilla Sridhar Babu, the minister emphasised preparing a detailed road connectivity plan linking important temples to major highways. The proposal will include construction and development of roads, along with financial estimates. Temples such as Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple and other prominent shrines in the region will also be included in the development plan.
