Recent reports from international media have revealed significant developments regarding the health condition of Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. According to these reports, he sustained injuries to his leg and severe burns on his face during the first day of strikes carried out by the United States and Israel. It is further reported that he has already undergone multiple surgeries, including three operations on his injured leg. There are also indications that he may require a prosthetic leg. Although his condition reportedly improved after surgery on his arm, the severe burns on his face and lips have left him struggling with speech. In this context, it is suggested that he may also undergo plastic surgery.
At present, Mojtaba Khamenei is reportedly being treated in a secure and undisclosed location due to security concerns. Communication with him is said to be maintained only through handwritten letters, which are delivered to the secret location via motorbike couriers. To avoid detection by Israeli intelligence, even senior officials are reportedly not meeting him in person. Meanwhile, it is reported that he has formed a special governing board to manage state affairs. He is said to act as the director of this board, which includes generals from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Key decisions related to war, diplomacy and national security are reportedly being made collectively based on their guidance and recommendations, according to political sources.
