Government Ready to Address RTC Workers’ Issues: Minister Ponnam!

The government is prepared to resolve the issues faced by RTC workers, stated Minister Ponnam. He confirmed that he is ready to sign on 29 demands raised by the workers, indicating a positive step toward addressing long-pending concerns within the transport sector. This move reflects the administration’s willingness to engage constructively with employee unions.

However, the minister clarified that three of the demands fall outside his jurisdiction and require a decision at the government level. He emphasized that those matters will be taken up for consideration by the higher authorities, assuring that efforts are ongoing to find a comprehensive solution.
