

The Telangana Rising Global Summit is shaping up to be one of the biggest business events in the state's history. A large number of domestic and international companies are attending and are preparing to sign important investment agreements. The government is expecting huge investments in the industry, technology, tourism, energy and entertainment sectors.
TCS and TPG are jointly investing around ₹70,000 crore in setting up hypervolt data centres in Hyderabad. Hyundai Motors is building a test track and manufacturing unit in Zaheerabad with an investment of ₹8,000 crore. Mahindra is investing ₹400 crore, Whistron ₹1,000 crore and Crompton Greaves ₹300 crore. Similarly, Biological E, MSN, North Star and Aquilon Nexus are expanding in the R&D, AI and pharma sectors.
Big projects are also coming up in the tourism and entertainment sectors. Foodlink will invest ₹3,000 crore to build a convention centre, expo and three hotels. Crystal Lagoons and Green Panthers are jointly developing an urban beach and entertainment hub at an investment of ₹850 crore. Atirat Holdings will invest ₹4,000 crore to build 25 CBG plants. Japan's Lixil Group will set up a housing fixtures facility. Overall, this summit is playing a key role towards transforming Telangana into a global investment hub.
