

The Telangana Assembly budget session concluded yesterday, with Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar announcing the indefinite adjournment of the House. The session, which commenced on the 16th of this month, lasted for a total of 10 days. During this period, the Assembly functioned for approximately 82 hours and 47 minutes.
During the session, the Assembly approved 10 key bills, including the Gig Workers Bill and the Advocates Protection Bill. The government referred the Hate Speech Bill to a select committee. The House also passed an important Appropriation Bill.
The session witnessed intense debates between the ruling and opposition parties on public issues and budget allocations. Overall, the proceedings were marked by active discussions before concluding.
