

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka stated that it is encouraging to see technological enhancements being introduced in the second phase of the CM Cup 2025–26, which is being organized with the objective of promoting rural sports in Telangana and establishing a player-friendly information system for athletes. On Tuesday, at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat, he launched the CM’s Cup Games – Agentic AI Call Centre and the “Nilamani” App, being implemented under the aegis of the Telangana Sports Authority, along with State Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari, Sports Authority Chairman Shivasena Reddy, and Managing Director Dr. Soni Baladevi.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the organization of the CM Cup by the Telangana Sports Department, aimed at identifying hidden sporting talent from rural areas, is highly commendable. He noted that the government’s objective is to encourage youth and students to move away from harmful habits and actively participate in sports activities. He expressed happiness that nearly 4.5 lakh sportspersons participated in the competitions conducted at village, mandal, assembly constituency, and district levels, out of which 22,000 athletes have been selected for the state-level competitions. He appreciated the introduction of a 24/7 AI-enabled call centre through the Nilamani App, which provides real-time information and updates to players under the CM Cup Games initiative.
The competitions, covering 44 sports disciplines across 12 districts, are being conducted on a large scale. He wished for the successful completion of the events and expressed hope that these games would produce outstanding champions in the future. Officials of the Telangana Sports Authority and others participated in the program.
