Sabarimala Gold Theft Case: Former TDB Chief Padma Kumar Arrested

The Sabarimala temple gold theft case has once again created a sensation. In this case, the SIT has arrested former Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) president and former CPM MLA Padma Kumar. The disappearance of gold plating from certain temple idols had earlier sparked widespread controversy.

On Wednesday morning, SIT officials questioned Padma Kumar for several hours. Following the interrogation, he was taken into custody. In the same case, the former TDB commissioner and several other officials have already been arrested. More details are expected to emerge soon.
