Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has strongly countered tweets by Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, accusing him of misrepresenting data using outdated information. Revanth Reddy highlighted that comparisons must be based on the latest NITI Aayog 2023-24 data and questioned Kerala CM’s claims that poverty reduction in Kerala is a result of 60 years of governance.
The Telangana CM emphasized the state’s rapid progress over 28 months, citing achievements in literacy, health, and social welfare. Initiatives like Rajiv Aarogyasri coverage increased to ₹10 lakh, farmer loan waivers, Rythu Bharosa, free bus services for women, ₹500 gas subsidy, free electricity, and over 67,000 government job appointments were highlighted. He also showcased Hyderabad’s growth as a global GCC hub while criticizing Kerala for brain drain, lack of industrial growth, and overdependence on Gulf remittances. Revanth Reddy invited Pinarayi Vijayan for a direct debate on facts, concluding in Malayalam with “Nee Po Mone Vijayan.”
