

BRS president and former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) expressed deep condolences over the demise of Kusuma Rajamouli, the former sarpanch of Gangadevipalli village. In a statement, KCR said Rajamouli played a pivotal role in transforming Gangadevipalli into a model village that reflects the true spirit of Gram Swaraj. Under his leadership, the village gained national recognition as an ideal rural development model.
KCR praised Rajamouli for actively involving villagers in development initiatives and strengthening the rural economy through community participation. He stated that Rajamouli’s contributions set a benchmark for village governance and rural progress across the country. KCR also noted that during the ten-year BRS government in Telangana, Rajamouli’s experience was utilized in implementing programmes like Palle Pragathi and other rural development initiatives. Calling his demise an irreparable loss to the Panchayati Raj system, KCR extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
