Microsoft has expressed its willingness to make a massive investment in India. The company plans to invest $17.5 billion (around ₹1.5 lakh crore), which will be its largest investment in Asia so far.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced this in a tweet and shared a photo of his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He mentioned that the funds will be used to develop infrastructure and skills needed for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) sector in India. Nadella also highlighted Microsoft’s commitment to support India’s technological growth and innovation.
