In the I-Bomma piracy case, the Nampally Court has approved the police request to take the prime accused, Ravi, into custody for five days. The CCS officials informed the court that additional questioning is necessary to gather more details related to the case.
Ravi was recently arrested by the Hyderabad CCS police for allegedly using specialized software to illegally obtain newly released movies and upload them on the I-Bomma website. Authorities have also frozen around Rs. 3 crore found in his bank account.
Investigators further discovered that Ravi earned several crores through various online betting applications.
