GVMC Council Term Ends Today !

The term of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation council is set to end today, marking a significant administrative transition in the city. With the completion of the tenure, the Mayor, Deputy Mayors and corporators will officially step down from their positions starting tomorrow.

From tomorrow, the administration of Visakhapatnam will come under a Special Officer as per government norms. This transition is expected to ensure continuity in governance until the next municipal elections are conducted. Officials stated that the new arrangement will oversee all civic operations and maintain administrative stability in the city.
