Two Arrested in Renu Desai Case

Cyberabad Police are taking strict action against individuals posting abusive and offensive comments targeting women and celebrities on social media. The authorities intervened promptly following a complaint filed by actress Renu Desai and have taken the accused firmly into custody.

Renu Desai approached the Cybercrime police over obscene remarks and personal attacks she had been receiving for some time. She filed a complaint against four social media accounts that were harassing her with offensive language and harming her reputation. Taking the complaint seriously, the police used technical evidence to identify and arrest two of the accused while accelerating efforts to trace the remaining two.

This is not an isolated incident. In a separate case involving harassment of actress Anasuya, the police have already apprehended one individual. Cyberabad authorities warned that “hiding behind fake accounts to post comments in the dark does not make anyone immune. Using advanced technology, we can trace and identify offenders anywhere.” They urged not only celebrities but also ordinary women to report any harassment immediately, assuring that strict action will be taken against the culprits.
