Andhra Pradesh has recorded GST revenue of ₹3,797 crore in April after SGST settlement, marking a 38% increase compared to the same month last year. Before settlement, the state’s revenue stood at ₹1,602 crore, which rose to ₹2,195 crore after adjustments. However, GST growth in Telugu states remained slightly below the national average.
Across India, gross GST collections for April reached ₹2,42,702 crore. After refunds of ₹31,793 crore, net GST collections stood at ₹2,10,909 crore, reflecting a 7.3% year-on-year growth. Officials said the steady rise indicates strong economic activity and improved tax compliance across the country.
