

With the positive response of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu and the proactive initiative of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has sanctioned funds for major development works at the renowned Kondagattu pilgrimage centre in Telangana. TTD has approved ₹35.19 crore for the construction of a Deeksha Viramana Mandapam and a pilgrims’ choultry (Satram). Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan will visit the famous Kondagattu Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple on Saturday and will lay the foundation stones for these buildings funded by TTD. The programme will be held between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM.
Following his electoral victory, Shri Pawan Kalyan had earlier visited the Kondagattu temple to offer prayers. During his interaction with temple authorities and priests, he became aware of the difficulties faced by devotees visiting from distant places and the need for better infrastructure facilities. Temple officials and priests requested the construction of a Deeksha Viramana Mandapam and a pilgrims’ rest house with proper accommodation facilities.
In response, Shri Pawan Kalyan proposed these development works with TTD support and placed the matter before Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Chandrababu Naidu, who responded positively. He subsequently held discussions with TTD Chairman Shri B.R. Naidu, following which the TTD Board approved the release of ₹35.19 crore for the projects. With these funds, a Deeksha Viramana Mandapam and a 96-room pilgrims’ choultry will be constructed. The Mandapam will be designed to accommodate around 2,000 devotees at a time for Deeksha completion rituals.
The foundation stone-laying ceremony will be attended by TTD Chairman Shri B.R. Naidu, AP Legislative Council Whip Shri Pidugu Hariprasad, Choppadandi MLA Shri Medipalli Satyam, TTD Board Members Shri B. Anandasai and Shri B. Mahender Reddy, TTD Local Advisory Committee Chairman Shri N. Shankar Goud, AP Police Housing Corporation Chairman Shri Kalyanam Siva Srinivas and other dignitaries. After the foundation stone-laying ceremony, Deputy CM Shri Pawan Kalyan will hold meetings with Jana Sena Party Telangana state leaders and party cadre. He will also meet with those who were elected in the recent Telangana Panchayat elections with Jana Sena Party support. These meetings will be held at Brundavanam Resort near Kodimyal.
