

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to organize YogaAndhra-2026 in a grand and prestigious manner across the state, with the main International Yoga Day celebrations scheduled for June 21. A review meeting was held with ministers and officials where detailed presentations were made on the planned activities.
As part of YogaAndhra-2026, programs will be conducted for 14 days from June 7 across the state. The main state-level event will be held in Amaravati with participation of 25,000 people, where the Chief Minister will also attend. Special yoga events will be organized on the Krishna river bridge in the capital region. On June 21, ministers and district officials will participate in district-level events with 1,000 participants each. The government aims to involve nearly one crore people, train additional one lakh yoga instructors apart from the existing 1.5 lakh trainers, and conduct district-wise themed programs with an allocation of ₹25 lakh per district.
