

Telangana Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu provided clarity in the Assembly regarding investments secured during Davos visits, stating that the state has attracted investments worth ₹2.19 lakh crore. He informed that the government signed 44 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during these visits, which are expected to generate direct employment for 68,150 people. In 2024, 18 MoUs were signed with investments of ₹40,232 crore, while in 2025, 26 MoUs brought in ₹1,78,950 crore in investments.
The minister further revealed that land has been allocated to six companies with investments worth ₹81,800 crore, generating ₹1,540 crore revenue for the government. Additionally, land has been identified for three more companies planning investments of ₹30,000 crore. Highlighting regional development, he stated that 11 companies are currently operating in the Nizamabad IT Tower, which has a seating capacity of 681, with 276 employees already working.
